Alternate Pathway

Alternative Routes to Membership

The Irish Trade and Professional Association for Doulas CLG strives to be an inclusive and open organisation. The alternative pathway to membership is open to birth professionals, experienced doulas or those who have completed comprehensive doula training elsewhere. There is a requirement that you attend additional ITPAD Alternative Pathway training modules and that you commit to ITPAD CLG mentoring.

If you would like to apply for ITPAD Alternative Pathway membership you can contact us.

ITPAD Alternative Pathway workshops take place online and there are two modules.  When the modules have been completed individuals can then apply to join ITPAD and will be mentored by a ITPAD Mentor for a minimum of 4 Births or 4 Pospartum clients or other doula  service clients as appropriate.
